Vantage Point

Vantage Point is what I can only begin to describe as a masterpiece.  I have never seen anything like it before, which is what made it unique.

The movie is about an assassination attempt on the current standing president of the United States, told in the perspective of several individuals.  Every time one perspective ended, and it started over again, there would be a cliffhanger, and I was left sitting on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen next.  Each time a new perspective was told, a little more was added to the story, then once again, ended with a cliffhanger.

The audience was able to see the perspectives of several different people, including, a news team, and their cameras, the secret service, the president, the terrorists, and an innocent bystander played by Forest Whitaker.  After the perspectives all told the same tale multiple times, all perspectives clashed into one for a twisting, and satisfying conclusion.

I am always astounded when I see original movies such as this.  A lot of hard work must have been put into it to make it look as good as it did.  I give this 5 stars, and would recommend this to anyone to watch, that means you.  Peace Out
