The Marvel Cinematic Universe Collection (2008-2013)

Avengers-Collection

Dave’s 3-Word Review
An epic franchise.

Where I usually go through a collection review going through the overall story of the franchise, I’m afraid I can’t really do that here. These are all separate stories that come together collectively for The Avengers. That being said, I can tell you that the series as a whole is one of the best franchises I have ever come across. Almost every year, we were treated to one of the biggest summer blockbusters of the year. That’s what we had to look forward to, and have yet to look forward to for years to come. Next month, Thor 2 comes out, and next year is the next Captain America flick. Then, of course Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron will be heading our way, as well as other numerous Marvel flicks. The fun just never stops.

My only hope is that they expand their universe even further. Disney owns Marvel now, so why not just buy out Sony’s rights to Spider-Man. Buy out the rights to X-Men. If they could make some kind of deal, there’s really no telling how amazing The Avengers could be. They almost had Oscorp Tower in this version of The Avengers, who’s to say they won’t have it in the sequel? The only reason as to why it wasn’t actually implemented this time was due to time restraints. The building’s render itself wasn’t yet finished…but now it is…so will we see it in Avengers: Age of Ultron? I would say there is a higher probability, which opens up some possibilities for the Spider-Man universe.
